Protection for linear balconies and terraces - Rounded railings
Preamble: Protection assemblies intended for linear balconies and terraces, equipped with rounded railings, must have openings to allow the passage of the clamp.
To secure your balcony without using a net, we recommend that you install the Catsafe sets on your linear railing with rounded bars, accompanied by an adaptation kit offering a variable length, ranging from 1.5 m to 15 m.
These sets constitute a real solution for dissuasion and prevention against cats accessing railings. They are pre-configured specifically for balconies equipped with railings with rounded surfaces. These surfaces can be completely round or partially rounded, with a minimum installation surface of 2cm.

Characteristics of the protection for linear balconies with rounded railings
- Securing without drilling or threading: Solution suitable for linear railings without lateral return.
Guardrail compatibility: Total length between 1.5 m and 15 m.
Railings with glazed or openwork guardrails.
Rounded or semi-rounded surface on the upper part.
- Required dimensions :
Minimum Diameter : 20 mm (can adapt to very narrow Haussmanian railings).
Maximum Diameter : 70 to 75 mm
Length of the Cat-Clamp: 24 cm on the notched part
- Dimensions of accessories:
Cat-Stand: Depth 5 cm, width 4 cm.
Cat-Lock: Depth 4 cm, width 6 cm.
- Tools needed:
- Sponge: Prior cleaning of the installation surfaces.
- Scissors: Cuts the rope to the desired length.
- Meter: Accurate measurement of the necessary segments.
- Lighter: Prevents fraying of rope ends.
