Choosing the right litter
Opt for natural litter made from materials such as corn, wood or recycled paper. These types of litters are not only more environmentally friendly, but they also neutralize odors better.
Regular cleaning
Remove solid waste daily and change litter once a week. Frequent cleaning is essential to prevent odor buildup.
Use baking soda
Sprinkle a thin layer of baking soda on the bottom of the litter box before adding the litter. Baking soda is an effective natural deodorizer that helps neutralize odors.
Aeration
Place the litter box in a well-ventilated area to prevent odors from stagnating. Good air circulation helps maintain a cooler ambiance in the room.
